Speedup your Win9X/NT Internet Connection/Browser

For standard, Cable, and DSL modems, Windows basically comes UN-Optimized which is
why your connection will seem so slow even though you have the latest and greatest
hardware.
There are various speed patches available for windows which are free as well as
those you have to pay for which are called "Internet Connection Boosters" or "Browser
Optimizers", and all which do basically the same thing - change a few register settings
in your windows operating system.

The site below has everything you ever wanted to know about speeding up your internet
connection as well as the patches themselves for free.

To download the default patch first, try this link:

That one patch alone made a believer out of me since there was at least a 100% improvement
if not more, especially since I couldn't even pull up the main site without the patch installed.
That was one of the main reasons that I upgraded from my 56k dialup connection where I was only
connecting at 28.8k at best to an ADSL connection which I currently have.
There was a vast improvement in speed but there were some pages that I couldn't even pull up
'cause my Internet connection had not been optimized, and with the optimization in place I could
begin to fully enjoy my ADSL connection.
I tried my 56k dialup with the patches installed and there was a vast improvement there also.
and now wouldn't mind returning to in a worst case scenario.
